Enhancements to Forestville included new main and secondary entrances which accommodated the bus loop, student drop-off and the after school SACC programs. The teaching space additions were limited due to non-growing enrollment and were aimed at removing existing on-site trailers and supporting new educational programs. These changes promote the importance of learning within the community while renovations to the existing learning spaces, including an update of all existing utilities, provide new finishes and revise oddly configured triangular rooms to create high performance flexible teaching spaces for future generations. Project costs included a significant process to abandon a failing septic field and tie into an existing off-site sanitary sewer system ensuring the longevity of the school.
