Samaha supported the Loudoun County Department of Transportation & Capital Infrastructure (LCDTCI) by providing interior design, FF&E services and construction administration for a public library that was designed by others as a part of a public private partnership. Through our term contract with Loudoun County, Samaha assisted with various revisions to the original design and construction administration while simultaneously meeting with LCDTCI, library staff, and interested volunteers to propose furnishing solutions and solve any outstanding issues to ensure that the library was delivered in a form that reinforced a sense of community through collaboration in the process. Our team selected furniture and finishes to create distinctive spaces that worked together as a comprehensive design. Following the preliminary selection of furnishings we modeled the entire building interior in 3D and applied finishes to convey the sense of scale, color, and materiality throughout the space.
