The new four-bay drive through fire station will provide living quarters for 15 fire and rescue personnel to include locker rooms, and administrative spaces for the career and volunteer personnel. The new station will focus on rapid response and provide a high performance facility for the station’s critical mission. Sustainable design features throughout the station and site will contribute to the station’s green building goals where we will be designing to achieve a LEED Silver certification. The community room will have its own public-facing entrance and will be available as open meeting space for the Town of Round Hill. Lastly, the civil engineering efforts include the extension of Round Hill water & sewer services to the site and connection to the new fire station.
