Walter Johnson High School – Auditorium
Montgomery County, MD
Samaha completed a 1,200 seat state-of-the-art performing arts center. The existing auditorium is transformed by the addition of a digitally automated fly loft system, digital audio system, and video system with switches and multiple cameras and projectors. The lighting system is automated with moving light capability. Changes include the addition of floating acoustical clouds, side wall reflectors, and back wall absorption. Back-of-house work includes a new set construction/storage area and new dressing rooms. Walter Johnson Auditorium serves as the new standard in high school theatre design.
